I know many of you are new here, so I created this page to share a little more about who we are and what to expect from picture day.

We’re Stevie and Angelo, the husband-and-wife team behind DiMarco Portraits. We’re also a homeschool family, and we travel throughout California providing portraits for homeschool communities, sports leagues, and more.

I’m the lead photographer, with a background in fine-art portraiture, while Angelo handles the logistics side and brings a background in education.

Together, we combine the care and attention of a traditional portrait session with an efficient picture-day experience, creating polished, thoughtful portraits that feel much more personal than traditional school pictures.

What to Expect

For fall portraits, we bring the studio outside.

When you arrive at Park Day, look for our two 10×10 white or grey canopies and DiMarco Portraits signage. Check in when you arrive and we’ll add your family to our virtual queue.

There’s no need to stand in line. You’re free to enjoy Park Day while you wait, and we’ll text you when it’s time for your children’s portraits.

Little to no waiting!

Many Schools and Homeschools have experienced picture days where families spend much of the day standing in long lines. We have designed our process to be different.

DiMarco Portraits utilizes a convenient text-notification system that allows families to enjoy park days, school events and activities while they wait. When it's their turn, they simply receive a text and head over for their pictures.

Do I need to register ahead of time?

While it is not mandatory until picture day, a preregistration link will be available as the date approaches. If you don't get to fill it out ahead of time, you can do it the day of.

Do I have to wait in line?

We utilize a text queue system that allows you to wait in line while you relax and enjoy your day. We will send out a message when it is time to come to the tent for your child's portrait.

How do studio portraits work outdoors?

We bring the studio to you by setting up a canopy station with our professional lighting and backdrop beneath.

Do I need to pay any fees?

Nope! There is no fee at all to have your child photographed. Within 7 days after picture day we will send out a secure digital gallery where you can choose to order prints and or digitals images.

Will there be buddy/sibling photos?

During back-to-school portraits, we do not offer buddy pictures. However, we do offer them at the Spring picture day events.

Pricing

DiMarco Portraits believes in transparency throughout the entire process, so we’ve listed pricing for our most commonly purchased prints at the bottom of this page. We work hard to keep school portraits affordable for families without sacrificing quality. Additional specialty products, including canvases and metal prints, will also be available in your gallery store once your portraits are delivered.
